1. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- You are responsible for account credentials and account activity.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
2. Subscription, Trial, and Billing
- Clipscriber is a subscription-based service.
- Where offered, your free trial begins upon successful subscription enrollment.
- Unless canceled before trial end, paid billing starts automatically based on selected plan.
- You authorize applicable app store/payment processors to charge recurring fees.
- Taxes may apply depending on jurisdiction.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- You may cancel at any time through the platform where subscription was purchased.
- Cancellation affects future renewals and does not retroactively refund prior charges unless required by law.
- Refund eligibility is governed by mandatory law and app store/payment provider policies.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, infringing, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
- Submit prompt-injection style instructions, harmful payloads, or non-language content in translation fields.
- Attempt to bypass limits, security controls, or subscription controls.
- Upload malware, harmful code, or content you do not have rights to process.
- Reverse engineer or misuse the platform in ways that disrupt service integrity.
5. Content and Rights
- You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to rights needed to provide the service.
- You grant Clipscriber a limited license to host, process, and display submitted content as needed for operation.
- Generated outputs can include transcripts, timestamp segments, translations, and export-rendered formats.
- You represent that you have lawful rights to upload and process submitted content.
6. Intellectual Property
The service, software, and all related intellectual property are owned by Clipscriber or licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
7. AI and Transcription Accuracy
Transcription and translation outputs are generated by automated systems and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for legal, financial, medical, or other critical uses.
Language availability may vary by provider and region. Where supported, Clipscriber may suggest a closest valid language if an unsupported entry is provided.
8. Exports, Sharing, and Attribution Footer
Clipscriber allows exporting and copying transcript content in supported formats. Exports or copied content may include a service attribution footer or informational link configured by Clipscriber.
9. Service Availability and Changes
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable business notice where practical.
- We may release updates to maintain security, stability, and legal compliance.
10. Termination
- You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account.
- We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, abuse, fraud, or legal necessity.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clipscriber and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
Aggregate liability for claims arising from these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) amounts paid by you in the 12 months before the claim; or (b) USD 100.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clipscriber from claims arising from your content, misuse of service, violation of law, or breach of these Terms.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
